in nine areas:

- elimination;

skills;
- awareness
and thinking;
- communications;
- relationships;

and assertiveness;
- sexual
awareness and behaviour;
- assistance
and acceptance.
Each
of the nine modules includes
an overview of age-related
changes, guidelines for detecting
change in functions, and easy-to-implement
activities to help individuals
maintain optimum functioning.
The guidebook also contains
an overview of the aging process
and a resource directory for
additional information on
aging with developmental disabilities.
