Aging adults with developmental disabilities and the accelerated aging of individuals, has resulted in an increased need:

  • to understand and gain knowledge about the aging process specific to persons with developmental disabilities,
  • to assist aging adults to understand the aging process and their lifestyle options,
  • to identify the gaps in service delivery
  • to develop working relationships with the other sectors to meet the needs of the aging individuals,
  • to redevelop/redefine our services.

Although some of the resources are not specifically for adults with developmental disabilities, the material will be useable with some modifications.
