All-Turn-It® Spinner

All-Turn-It Spinner empowers individuals to be active participants in commercially-available or individualized games and activities. Many learning and fun activities can be created using the All-Turn-It Spinner, using pre-printed overlays or by creating your own. All-Turn-It Spinner is designed to enable all individuals to participate. The spinner is activated by the built-in or an external switch.

Similar in design to a roulette wheel once the spinner is activated by the switch it spins around until it randomly stops. An inner and an outer circle allow for the development of multiple concepts. i.e. inner circle has a series of questions or actions; while the outer circle has the names or the pictures of all the participants. When the spinner stops whosever picture or name is on the outer circle answers the question/does the action that is on the inner circle. . . . or . . . The use of the 'dice' overlays enables a person without the physical ability to roll the dice to still participate by activating the All-Turn-It by a switch. The 'Dice' Overlay may be used to play cards.

To change the activity you change the overlay using either pre-printed overlays or by creating your own.

Some examples of how the All-Turn-It is being used are:
- within a group home setting used to determine who is responsible for which of the daily or weekly chores.
- an individual unable to vocalize her preference uses the All-Turn-It to select which outfit she will wear. Her outfits have been photographed and grouped by suitability i.e. weather, occasion . . . She spins the spinner to select which she will wear.
- item recognition
- drawings or photos of a number of items are on the overlay. The person matches it to the actual item that is on the table/in the room etc. May be used for a scavenger hunt game.
- placing the names or the first few lines of songs on an overlay enabling the person using the spinner, to chooses the song for the group to sing.
