Talk
Many
individuals
have
a
difficult
time
learning
to
speak.
Some
will
need
to
hear
the
sound
over
and
over
before
they
can
produce
the
word.
Others
may
need
a
reinforcer
to
engage
their
interest
before
they
can
listen
to
the
word.
Some
need
real
pictures
while
others
will
need
augmentative
communication
devices.
There
are
four
activities:
- The
first
activity,
"Teach
Me
To
Talk"
is
used
as
a
springboard
for
the
individual
to
learn
to
speak
the
word.
There
are
150
real
pictures.
When
the
picture
is
chosen,
it
appears
on
a
clear
background
with
musical
interludes,
movement,
written
word
and
spoken
word.
It
culminates
by
morphing
to
the
corresponding
black
and
white
Mayer-Johnson
Symbols.
- The
second
activity,
"Story
Time"
takes
some
of
these
nouns
and
puts
them
in
four
line
poetry.
This
helps
the
individual
hear
the
word
in
the
midst
of
a
sentence
structure.
It
also
works
on
the
auditory
discrimination
skills.
- The
third
activity,
"Puzzles"
makes
100
puzzles,
Choices
of
2,
3,4,8,
or
16
pieces
are
available.
- The
fourth
activity,
"Switch-on-picts"
is
for
the
individual
with
severe
disabilities.
It
allows
them
to
hit
a
switch
and
have
a
picture
appear,
along
with
the
options
of
movement
and
music.
This
software
works
with
a
mouse,
single
switch,
touch
screen,
and
IntelliKeys
keyboard.
This
program
is
recommended
for
any
individual
who
is
having
trouble
talking
whether
it
be
toddlers,
a
student
with
autism
or
adults
in
vocational
rehabilitation.

used
for
adults
with
more
severe
developmental
disabilities.
