Formboard with a Brain
Developed by the Smith-Kettlewell Engineering Research Institute

Designed for adults and children with limited motor control, vision, hearing or cognitive skills, this fun shape puzzle is an invaluable teaching device. The "Brain" teaches cause and effect, fine motor skills, eye hand coordination, spatial concepts and more.
Each colorful - painted wooden shape piece can be put into any of nine different places on the board. The user receives instant rewards for successfully completing the tasks. Internal tones or small vibrations are given following the sequence. Music or long vibrations are given for completing the entire sequence. With the "Brain" the possibilities are endless. The puzzle can be easily customize to the needs and abilities of the user starting with one or two shapes. By gradually increasing the challenge, reinforce the user's memory skills, counting skills, listening skills, and ability to follow directions.
This tool is recommended for use with individuals with Alzheimer's disease.
