Concepts Inc.
Established
in 1991, Freedom Concepts Inc.,
develops a full line of custom
mobility devices to accommodate
a wide range of needs. Ken Vanstraelen
started the company with the vision
of "Making Mobility a Reality"
for everyone. Freedom Concepts
goal is to "provide a line of
adjustable mobility devices that
can be used in schools and facilities,
or in the great outdoors." Their
mobility devices are great for
persons with special needs or
anyone that requires extra stability.
Each mobility device is a great
rehabilitation tool for patients,
caregivers, and professionals.
To
find the most appropriate model
for your or an individual's needs:
- Visit
the Freedom Concepts web site
or call for a brochure and look
at the different models.
- Fill
out an evaluation form so that
Freedom Concepts can properly
access the person's/ your needs,
and determine which bike will
be most suitable. The evaluation
form is available on their website,
or by a calling, and they will
fax or mail one out.
- Discuss
therapy goals, and needs with
a PT/OT or Health Care Professional.
- Submit
the evaluation form back to
Freedom Concepts; this will
help them determine the size.

devices. All of the Freedom Concept
products are geared to individual's
with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida,
balance difficulties, stroke,
