The Daily Life Activities section is meant to included the things that people do on a daily basis. Daily Life Activities has been chosen as the title recognizing not all persons choose to work, go to school, volunteer, be involved in the community, sing, cook . . . . however most people are involved in something hopefully of their choosing.

This category is broad by design as it is hoped that the reader may see something that will lead to a new opportunity, a different activity that the individual may then choose as one of or their only Daily Life Activity. Although some of the activities listed are segregated it is by no means the intention to discourage community inclusion and participation; rather to give as many options as possible which provide opportunities for life enrichment, and that may act as stepping stones to inclusion.
Many of the specific categories, i.e. art, horticulture, sensory, music, drama, recreation . . . are recognized as therapies for their therapeutic benefits. In rehabilitation environments trained therapist develop therapeutic programs using these mediums. The information included in this section is "not" meant to be consider or used as a "Therapy" rather daily life activities.
