Discovering Life Skills with Special Needs Groups - Volume 4

The Discovering Life Skills with Special Needs Groups manual resulted from the requests by many professionals who wanted less complex lessons on certain topics for their special needs groups. Suggestions and lesson plans were solicited from coaches and leaders from all over Toronto. The resources are written in a lesson format.
There are series on communication and assertiveness with "simplified lesson plans" for physically and developmentally challenged participants. Lessons on self-esteem and self development. Special section with 17 "games" to use with groups. Topic areas included in this volume are

  • Ages and Stages

  • Games
