Staff Training & Development

Training and development of all person supporting individuals with developmental disabilities needs to be on-going and in keeping with advancements in the field, yet affordable and accessible. The focus in this area is to collect resources that meet these criteria and reinforce the valuing of the persons served. Resources for self-development are included in recognition and encouragement of the professionalism within this field.

Self Development includes books, magazines, tapes, . . . that focus on developing ones self.

Training Resources includes resources that although focus on self development lend themselves to in-service training.
